what to prepare before going to Singapore to study, learn from seniors and peers about accommodation, food, courses, weather, equipments, communication, culture.....
5) Singapore--apparel
If I go to Singapore to study, what sort of clothing should I bring?
Singapore's climate is mostly hot and humid with average temp ranging between 79°F (26°C) and 86°F (30°C) in the day and cooler temp at night. Light clothing is recommended.
Having T-Shirts and jeans would be good. As long as you are neat, you will be allowed into most places, including restaurants, clubs etc.
If you are attending a business appointment, just be formally attired. Since Singapore is a humid place, it is not consider rude if you do not wear a coat for such appt. Long sleeves shirt with a tie for guys, normal working attire for ladies.
